In future, our client, the Kuratorium für Verkehrssicherheit, would like to introduce innovative concepts regarding mobility on the street with specifically created "smart safety solutions". epunkt: Mr Rosino, could you give us an insight into your vision?
"Smart safety solutions" is the focus of my vision: a modern, intelligent and forward-thinking security solution, which puts emphasis on the requirements of the user.
In the film "Back to the future", Marty McFly lands in the 21st century, in which cars can fly and skateboards float freely above the ground. How far are we from such scenarios?
I am convinced that such scenarios are very realistic – buzzword "autonomous driving". Precisely, these innovations and developments are the focus of our work. An increasingly connected, automated and technological world presents us with new challenges that go far beyond traffic safety.
How should a company be set for innovation?
Innovative thinking cannot be imposed or even forced. However, you can create an environment that enables and promotes the development of innovative employees. Prerequisite for this is employees who are open and curious, enjoy playing with thoughts and developing new ideas. Therefore, the innovation-hub established by us tries to promote the generation of ideas and its implementation by an environment conducive to innovation.
To what do you particularly, attach value in recruiting your employees?
Experience has thought me that not only must an employee be compatible with the values and principles of a company, but also with those of the key people. Therefore, one must be aware of their personal values in recruiting - only on this basis can one build a successful partnership. Another important aspect is that of heterogeneity. In my opinion, it is a grave mistake to cultivate a "monoculture" of employees. Only those systems that can fall back on a broad and differentiated base of knowledge, characters and qualities, are resilient.
What constitutes the working relationship with epunkt?
Besides the very high level of professionalism and efficiency mainly, the fit between the employer and –employee and the personal attention of the staff on site was crucial for my decision.
What is special in the cooperation with epunkt is actually that the feeling of a joint project was experienced.
