epunkt is a company favourable to women
epunkt secures the first place!
On March 8th, International Woman's Day, the largest employer-evaluation portal of the German-speaking region, kununu.com, used the opportunity to determine the best employer for women.
On the way to equal rights
The Director of kununu.com, Florian Mann, sees the purpose of this ranking list to put the focus on each company, which already offers good basic requirements for women. He also wants to draw attention to the areas of improvement. In his opinion, the work environment is on the right track to equality between women and men but there are still major differences in terms of salaries, opportunities for advancement and promotions. Many employers still have to work on the offers for their employees because pro-women conditions unfortunately, cannot be found in many places. Flexible working hours and facilitation of home office for full-time jobs are important points in this context, which should now be on the agenda of every company. The kununu.com ranking shows, which employers already offer the best conditions for working mothers.
The ranking was created by kununu.com based on 77,524 evaluation from Austria. Chosen were, those companies, which achieved the best scores in the category "equal rights" and also demonstrate the benefits "flexible working hours" and "home office". Among the top 10 are mainly companies from the EDP & IT, insurance and telecommunication sectors. Each of these sectors is represented in the ranking with two companies.
